IMPORTANT NOTICE: Ilagiisaq Prepaid Mastercard Program Closure
We are writing to inform you of an important decision concerning our product, the Ilagiisaq
Prepaid Mastercard. Due to regulatory constraints governing prepaid cards and insufficient
subscriptions, we regret to inform you that we must discontinue the Ilagiisaq Prepaid
Mastercard, despite our sincere efforts to maintain this service.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your adhesion. Unfortunately, this card
program will be ending as of October 1st, 2024.
There are several dates to take note of:
• Effective August 31st, 2024 – it will no longer be possible to credit your Ilagiisaq Prepaid
Mastercard. The direct deposit account allocated to your Ilagiisaq Prepaid Mastercard account
will be closed, and any funds that are sent to the direct deposit account aGer this time will be
returned back to your sending bank.
• Effective October 1st, 2024 – Cards will no longer be ac&ve. That means that no ATM or POS
transactions will be approved and any residual balances will be paid back to you at your local
COOP store,45 days aGer the cancella&on of the card.
Cardholders wishing to cancel their cards prior to October 1st, 2024 should contact Customer
Service at Support@posatel.com. Funds will be paid back to you at your local COOP store, 45
days after the cancellation of the card. No fee will be charged for the processing of a refund.

1. When is my card going to be closed?
As of October 1st, 2024, we will no longer support the use of the Ilagiisaq Prepaid Mastercard which includes the primary and companion cards.
2. Can I log into my online account at Ilagiisaqcard.com after the program closure?
Yes up until October 1st, 2024 or you call customer service at 1-877-688-6729 if you require further assistance.
3. I have lost my card. Can I get a replacement?
We no longer replace lost, stolen or damaged cards. If funds remain on the card, the Coop store may be able to reimburse you. Alternatively, you can call Customer Service on 1-877-688-6729 to request a refund transfer for the remaining balance; the transfer will be sent to the Coop store and deposited into your regular account.
4. What is the last day to reload my card?
Effective August 31st, 2024, the option to load your card will no longer be supported.
You can continue to spend down your remaining balance online, at retailers or withdraw it from an ATM or over-the-counter cash at the coop store. The program will close on October 1st, 2024.
5. What is the last date to complete a debit transaction on my card?
Effective October 1st, 2024, your Ilagiisaq prepaid Mastercard will no longer work for any debit transactions including online retail or ATM transactions.
6. What will happen to the funds in my card, if there are remaining funds after the program closure date of October 1st, 2024?
If there are still funds on your card after October 1st, 2024, you can request a full refund at your local Coop retail store.If your remaining balance is over $200, it is strongly recommended that you contact the store in advance (24-48hrs) so that we are ready to provide the cash refund promptly. Alternatively, you can call customer service at 1-877-688-6729 to request for a refund transfer for the remaining balance; the transfer will be sent to the Coop store and deposited into your regular account.
7. Will Co-ops offer another solution to the Ilagiisaq prepaid Mastercard?
Alternative solutions to a prepaid reloadable card are being investigated. However, it is the likelihood that an alternative solution will not be identified before the Ilagiisaq prepaid Mastercard program closure.
8. As the program is closing, is the money in my Ilagiisaq Prepaid Mastercard safe?
YES, your funds are safe and do not expire. There has been no change in the protection offered to cardholders because of the program closure. Please spend down the balance of your card, withdraw it at an ATM (fees applicable) or ask for a full refund of the remaining balance at your local Coop retail store. If there are funds remaining on the Card, the Coop retail stores may reimburse you with cash any remaining balance on your card(s) less any outstanding fees, subject to availability. If your remaining balance is over $200, it is strongly recommended that you contact the store in advance (24-48hrs) so that we are ready to provide the cash refund promptly. Alternatively, you can call customer service at 1-877-688-6729 to request for a refund transfer for the remaining balance; the transfer will be sent to the Coop store and deposited into your regular account.
CANCELLATION
Can I cancel my Ilagiisaq prepaid Mastercard before the program closure date?
Only the Primary Cardholder may cancel the account along with any companion card(s) associated with the Primary card. You may cancel the Card by calling Cardholder Services at 1-877-688-6729 or by visiting your local Coop. If there are funds remaining on the Card, the Coop retail stores may reimburse you with cash any remaining balance on your card(s) less any outstanding fees, subject to availability. If your remaining balance is over $200, it is strongly recommended that you contact the store in advance (24-48hrs) so that we are ready to provide the cash refund promptly.

DISPUTES
What if I have a transaction dispute on my card after the program closure date of October 1st, 2024?
If you suspect that a transaction on your card is fraudulent, you should first direct it to the relevant merchant. If there is a dispute regarding the purchase of goods or services made by you using your Card, you must notify us of your dispute within sixty (60) days of the date of the transaction. You can call customer service at 1-877-688-6729. The dispute may take up to ninety (90) days to be resolved from the date the dispute is submitted. If your dispute is successful, a refund check will be issued to you at your local Retail Coop retail store.
